The fourth annual Mad Hatter Ball, a fundraiser for Mentor Me Petaluma, was a great party and a wonderful time. Held this year at the Petaluma Community Center at Lucchesi Park on Saturday March 21. There was good food and drink, great music, and happy people. The silent auction was a success - it is really unbelieveable how many incredible artists we have in Petaluma. The music was outstanding, with The Elijah Samuels Quartet followed by Dgiin, voted Best North Bay band for 2009 by the Bohemian. Their high energy, french-gypsy-funk rhythms were packing the dance floor. Through it all, there was a neverending feast for the eyes with all the crazy/silly/fun/amazing hats that everyone wore - many home-made and spectacular!
