Corona Creek School will be overflowing with grandparents on Friday, February 6th at a very special event.

The school’s fifth-grade students have been studying heritage as part of their language arts curriculum. The students are learning about their own heritage, and writing a biography about a grandparent, elderly relative or friend. Each student has invited the person they are writing about to the Grandparent Tea on February 6th.

The event will have visitors from as far away as Vermont, Maryland, Oregon, North Carolina, and Florida! After arriving at the school at 10:30 a.m., each visitor will be introduced to the classes and then listen as their biography celebrates their life. All will then gather in the multipurpose room at 11:00 a.m. for a grad culminating celebration.
