Thank you Petaluma360 for adding this category. Now how can you get the word out? Maybe an article in the article about how local groups can publicize their volunteer needs here?

I would like to see Rotary, Lions Clubs, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and other groups post their details on volunteer events in Petaluma.

Maybe some neighborhoods could use a little help with various projects.

Luchessi Park could certainly use some help. There are benches in the playground that were removed and should be replaced.

The tot-lot still sits empty.....this is in the center of the park and I'm sure there are no city funds to do anything with is. Maybe someone has some interesting ideas?

No posts in this volunteer category for over two months??? The Park & Rec director needs to get involved with the community. Volunteers are willing and able!

It would be nice if this category was moved up on the forums page or if there was a link to this on the home page. I agree there are many people willing to volunteer their time in Petaluma.
