My friend and I were walking at Shollenberg park and ran into a city employee. We asked him how long the trucks were going to be there taking away the dredging material. He was friendly, telling us what he knew (Nov. 21st) but then he started to tell us how much he does not care for Petaluma, as it is full of illegals and homeless and how much better RP was. He even told us that the RP police pick up the homeless and drop them off in Petaluma, telling them where to go to free meals and lodging.
Disappointing to hear a city employee telling locals how much he does not like the town he works in.
Sounds like it could have been just about anyone that is a regular on this board! They are always complaining about how bad Petaluma is and how good RP is cause they have a Target.
Boop, you never answered my inquiry... did you attend the Planning Commission last week and offer your constructive criticism or did you sit at home and rant anonymously from behind your computer screen? I think we all know the answer...

No, you didn't answer. So your constructive criticisms were presented by your proxy in your absence? You couldn't tear yourself away from the computer to provide input on the shape of your community. The same community you are so quick to criticize anonymously through this forum? Tells me a lot about you and your credibility...

I think you have a few issues to be working on. That's like the 4th time I answered your question. Oh, I get it now, you're stalking me. That's a good public image for you.
As much as I like Petaluma, the city employee has a point. Everyone's afried to talk about the problem's we have so nothing will ever improve. God help any of us if we bring up dealing with the homeless or illegals problem.
No Boop you have not answered, you just continue to avoid the question, then proceed to your normal criticisms and put downs on everyone who doesn't agree with you.
Very well, here is my answer: I think that about eight of you that post and whine like babies about the city council should accept the fact that we not only have a black president of the United States, but the current Petaluma City Council was elected by a majority.
We ALL had our chance to vote and you guys lost. For God's sakes, grow up and get over it. You'll have another chance to vote in the next election(s). You are just looking and sounding like immature children who were never taught to gracefully accept defeat. However, a number of you seem to have been taught to cheat. That's why we tossed your rears out!

The biggest complainer/whiner on this board is you Boop. As for the eight people you mention, actually the number is vastly higher compared to the few people that support your views.

Have you noticed how many people have said they made a HUGE mistake by voting for your Fab 4? Now the truth is out and they can see it was all political BS they used to get elected. You can mark my word - they will not have a chance in the next election.
That's right. My purpose here is to challenge all the stupid things that the regular posters say here. If you are in that group, then yes David, grow up, wise up, and try to climb a notch or two above the primordial ooze that seems to be the source of most of the comments here.
