There once were two stores named Lucky.
When Albertson's came they were sucky. The prices were high, I said bye-bye. Now Lucky is back and that's ducky. |

All over Petaluma:
There once were abandoned carts, They came from the various marts, They're red and they're blue, Gang colors, it's true, In the creeks there are mostly cart's parts. |

The council decided to buy it.
Put the roads on a one-lane diet. But traffic got worse, The drivers would curse, Took shortcuts not wanting to try it. |

The year was Two-Thousand Ten, Petaluma was at it again, Took the roads off the diet They were causing a riot, So back to four lanes, AMEN! ahhhh, thank you very much.... |

At Casa we went to play bingo,
But I didn't know the lingo, My numbers were called, But my cranium stalled, No winnings and now I feel dingo. (Support bingo -- for our local schools! Maybe your luck will be better than mine) |

and so it was duly noted, Mr. John Brown from Oregon came down, but whoops! salary bloated! P.S. Isn't that more than the salary of the President of the United States? Hmmmmm.... |

Along with some has-been film stars. They shut down the street, It was really quite neat, The cars almost outnumbered the bars. |

there once was a jr. high school,
right by the community pool, they tore it down, built a new one cross town, heaters don't work, how cool. |

Petaluma turns one hundred fifty,
The party will be quite nifty. Let's break into song We should all get along Time passes by all too swiftly |
