ATTENTION PARENTS: DUAL IMMERSION PROGRAM DEADLINE IS MARCH 31ST. PLEASE REGISTER ASAP!

Many of you have heard that an exciting new Dual Immersion Program has been planned to begin in the Fall of 2009 for children in Kindergarten or the First Grade. The children enrolled in the program will receive education in both English and Spanish, allowing them to learn to speak, read and write in both languages.

The Bernard Eldrdge Elementary School has given us until March 31st to have 30 Families registered in the Dual Immersion Program to make this program a reality for our Community. At this time we only need eight more families to register to move forward with the program.

If you have a Kindergarten age child or a First Grader your child is eligible to enroll for this amazing opportunity! Your child can have the opportunity to have a truly unique educational experience and learn language skills that will benefit them for a lifetime.

If you are interested in the program please complete the registration process asap. March 31st is the deadline to register at the school and for inter-district transfer forms to be received. You do not need to worry about losing a place in your current school by completing the registration process. Bernard Eldridge will hold onto the inter-district transfer forms until they are sure we have the 30 families needed to move forward. Therefore, you will still be registered at your home school and Bernard Eldridge.
