Wilson Elementary School’s Annual Father Daughter Dance
Wow, what a night! On Friday night, February 13, 2009 the parents made the cluster building look like a palace for this annual event. By hanging chiffon from the center and draping from the walls the place was transformed into a beautiful ballroom. The girls were dressed up beautifully and all looked like princesses. The dads cleaned up nice too. Everyone enjoyed dancing to the DJ’s music. What a wonderful sight to see so many daughters enjoying a special event with their fathers.
The food was delicious and the flowers plentiful. The table decorations were very pretty as well. Professional quality photographs were taken as a remembrance of the gala event. The slide show of previous year events was a stroll down memory lane for some of the older kids. The culmination of the evening was the crowning of the Queen and her dad (the King) along with her court and their dads.
I very big thank you to the parents who decorated, brought food, served, took pictures and cleaned up. You put smiles on many faces with your effort.
