I tried the swordfish at 25 dollars for dinner. Very good. Caesar salad included wasn't good, They served them as uncut 6 inch romaine heart leaves in dressing- boring. Swordfish was fantastic with roasted potatoes and veggies. Great service obviously as it was a Wednesday night at 10% capacity.

I've been there a few times... decent food, but horrible service,,,, the service in the bar is even slower...
they really are loosing out on local's business because of this...

The service is horrible and the quality of food is even worse. The restaurant clearly exploits illegal aliens. Why doesn't the INS raid that place? They're plenty of US citizens that need work right now! Tell everybody you know never to eat there. I hear the RIM CORP is totally anti-union and steals from all their employees by not paying them overtime. I hear they even hirer illegals and don't even pay them. That's slavery! I can't believe the city lent them money. We should get a refund.

I have eaten there a number of times, and find the food quality very good, and agree that the service is not always great. The early bird special for dinner is a good value, and it's never crowded.
John Browne makes some interesting comments. He should know that the hotel is now a union hotel, and the owners paid the city back in full several years ago. The city got all of its money back plus interest.

Decent food, awful service. I've read several times that the service sucks, and have heard it from several people. My one and only experience was positive for the first 3/4 of the meal, then it fell apart from there. Aside from inattentive service, my cappuccino was served in a paper cup from the Starbucks next door and our tea water was moved to another table who ordered tea.

Sheesh DaveG - you must have been hungry. Four reviews (all negative I might add) in a day.

I don't have high expectations. Petaluma simply fails to deliver in the way of dining. Cucina Paradiso is good, Zazzle works sometimes and Lilly Kai is adequate.

I'd love to hear how disapproving of cappuccino in a paper cup at Tolay while watching my waiter give my used tea water to someone else makes me grumpy.

Tolay is simply horrible. Went there the day before mothers day, around noon. Waitress was complaining how tired she was. Had our table of three wait a good 20min to take our order. There was only three tables, the place was empty!
Ordered soda's, she kept bringing diet as we asked for reg. We wanted to walk out just then, but I gave her a second chance.
Well the food was awful!

I called three times to try to speak with the manager, she was always to "busy" I will never go back there! To many other great places for a nice lunch. Risibisi YUM!

Love Tolay! The steak is fab!!!! Soups always divine! Calamari and buffalo wings always the best in town! The service in the evenings when I go is always great......usually get the same cute girl with glasses........she's always been super nice, super sweet, and a super server! She is usually the only server, and I realize she has lots of other tables, but I come to a restaurant to dine and enjoy, not a fast food place. Hmmmmm......it's been a while, I need to go there!

The food is good and the service also is not so bad. I understood being the customer some times the service may not be up to our expectation. But, the food was fantastic. Our family enjoyed the food. I have exquisite experience with Dalls Restaurants, which i would like to share with you. Here the food and the service both are excellent.It is worth visiting.
