We like Tres Hombres. But, I won't eat at Mi Pueblo anymore because of some things (which I won't mention here) I found in my food.

Tres Hombres- I want to second Logical1's earlier post about live music- they bring in some great local bands + no cover. Hillside Fire is playing Saturday, March 28th.
I go for the huge burritos.

Get the tomales from Karina's Mexican Bakery on the blvd or carnitas quesadilla from Don Panchos on McDowell, great stuff

Res Hombres.. I love the music and food. The service is inconsistent. A little pricey for the quality and oftne pretentious.
For good food, patio dining and great service we go to Urupan on Bodega, for year's. Went there on Tuesday, on the patio w/warm weather..... Nice. Try the polo tortilla soup.

Went to Tres Hombres during the farmer's market last night. We had had bad experiences before, but the outdoor seating is too perfect, so we went for it. And it was a great experience. The tacos were tasty, and our server was awesome. He was a pro, and obviously knew how to do the job, as opposed to some of the past servers we had there.
So I'm glad we didn't give up on it, I hope it's as good the next time.

I've seen some horrible things myself over at Mi Pueblo. I will never go there again.

Why don't you put your comments on the Mi Pueblo category? This is the Tres Hombres category. Keeps it simpler that way.

I went to Tres Hombres last night was a bunch of friends. We had the best service! They were very attentive, and the service was friendly and quick , plus they were patience with our all of our requests! Loved the organic tequila Margarita special that the waiter recommended.
We also came here after my son's graduation with a large party, and the food and service was very good.
And I have gone a number of times on Friday night to watch Jeff Oster and Peter Welker, and the service is great then too! Love their gucamole.

Tres Hombres just another overrated restaurant here in Petaluma. I went with a few friends a few weeks back on a Friday night what a joke the service was terrible not even offered a menu, would of liked to order some food. They are over priced for drinks well I guess they have to be to pay basin street for such a prime spot that once was a car dealership.

I started this post and since that time I have been to Tres Hombres several times either for dinner, drinks with friends, Mother's Day brunch or Taco Tuesdays. The food has been adequate and the service remains the same - terrible.

We were there two weeks ago, a party of six. Service was just OK and the food was mediocre. The El Rey Quesadilla hardly had any filling. Maybe they should re-name it The Diet Plate. Thank goodness for Powell's because we had plenty of room for gelato!

I love Tres Hombres. We've gone many times. True, the service is hit or miss, but they have the nicest outdoor seating in Petaluma. I lvoe the fish tacos (esp. the ones with the cole slaw topping).
