We had lunch this past weekend at Tres Hombres and although we had no complaints with the food, the service was terrible. We had to track down the manager for chips, ask a busboy to find someone that could order us beer, and again, find the manager to find our waitress. It was not that busy in the restaurant! When I mentioned the service to other friends, they also had a similar experience. Has anyone else had this experience here?
Have not had that problem. I also applaud Tres for starting to have live entertainment. We saw the local band, PLUM CRAZY there 2 times (the last one was New Year's Eve) and they blew us away. The restaurant does, however, need to build a better stage area if they're going to continue having bands.
I have eaten here a while back and the service and food was not good We waited about an hour and half for our food and then some of the food was undercooked! I would not step foot back in this place if you paid me.
The first time my hubby and I ate here it was great. Went back with my mom and the food was so salty that we sent it back. I gave it a third shot again with my husband and it was terrible. So sadly, I will not be going back.
I have too had horrible service on more than one occasion. The funny thing is, is that it was all times when it WASN'T busy. And in the summer time or when the weather is decent outside and you want to sit on the patio, forget it. They completely forget about you out there. It is really too bad because it was not like that when they first opened..

I co-sign that! Mi Pueblo is my favorite!
The food at Tres Hombres was nothing special. The one time I went out for drinks with my friends the margaritas were VERY inconsistent from bartender to bartender. When we mentioned it, there was serious attitude copped.
Went to Tres Hombres Thursday night for some nachos. Waited inside for the host to seat us after 5 min. Someone finally came. We asked to sit outside and were escorted out. The guy gave us menus and said he would be right back to light the heater and bring us some chips and drinks. We sat their 15 minutes no one came we just sat their waiting. We left. We went to valescos where their were about 4 tables taken all the others still were covered with peoples dirty plates. We were told to have a seat and we wondered WHERE. We saw a seat with no dishes and went to it only to see it covered with salsa. We sat and someone came and wiped our table and left. Another brought us chips and salsa but no drinks. At least 5 minutes passed and we flagged someone down for drinks and ordered. Have to say those were the worst nachos I've ever had. Will never go back to either of these places.
If you like Mi Pueblo, have a look on Yelp at the post from the customer who claims to have witnessed their recycling of used chips. I'll certainly never eat there again, and I don't care if it I didn't see it with my own eyes.
I frequent Tres Hombres and have always received excellent service. One time our waitress was a little busy and the manager even made sure we were taken care of. Love going on Taco Tuesday and their chips are always fresh!
I have found this website to be pretty helpful, shows violations, types, whether or not the violations have been corrected etc., actually quite a bit of information, the local health Departments grading system....

Too bad... true or not, that turns my stomach. Makes one wonder what else they recycle besides bottles and cans. I won't be going back. That's just nasty.

We tried it a couple times, and decided the food wasn't worth going back for. The fajitas were swimming in oil--yech. Nice place to have a drink, though. The Mexican food is way better at Mi Pueblo and Lolita's!
