Thumbs up for the new Park & Rec director! Things are getting done, like the removal of the train sculpture and the installation of nice new trash cans at Luchessi Park. He also answers e-mails promptly and is open to comments and suggestions!

Yes, Park and Recreation is doing a good job lately, but they should tap into the resources of the community. More community park volunteer clean-up days. More use of service clubs, including our local high schools. These kids can rake, scrub graffiti, paint, weed, clean and pick up litter. And get community service hours for their college resumes!

Scott is doing an excellent job! And with little or no budget in many cases! If you see a project that needs to get done I encourage you to share you insights with him. He's responsive and up for getting things done!
