Holy Cow!
I NEVER even thought this could happen, but I called this morning to let Department of Public Works know that we had a streetlight out, and I'll be darned but the truck came by THIS AFTERNOON and behold the LIGHT!!! Thanks again!

BRAVO!! DPW!!!

Called in a pickup truck parked at an angle, leaking gas onto the street from its gas-fill cap. Police showed up followed by PFD who wrapped the leak, found out who's truck it was, called the kid's grandfather who came and siphoned off just enough gas to stop the leak. Problem solved, practical, no fuss. Everyone told a few jokes about the cost of gas and went on their way. Well done Petaluma.
