Hello, I'm new to town and I was wondering if anyone knew of a place to play ping-pong in Petaluma.

I don't know about here but in Pt Reyes there are a couple of tables set up downtown to use for free. There are usually an assortment of paddles & balls that people just leave there for the next players. Smiler

Hi gardener2, welcome to town! I don't know of anywhere to play ping-pong, but it would be great if someone would set up a business in one of the empties (like Shoe Pavillion)

Wanted to add that the tables are simply outside- you can play anytime. I think it is the community or art center. Just ask.

Yeah and a place to play pocket pool would be cool too. I keep getting chased out of the parks.

wow whip.....what is up? this kind of reminds me of that post way back when...the softball post. you got all over that guy back then for softball now you are going after ping pong? and i thought you had a problem with people attacking you unsolicited....why do you do it to others? it was a simple question....if you don't have anything productive...why post? i struggle to see how you can get upset at others for going after you when you post things like this?

now....let your attack on me begin.......

Perhaps wellknown, patrick, and whippis could connect.

Back to the subject, I wonder if there is a place in Petaluma where someone could set up a couple of tables and just leave them up like at Pt Reyes?

The parking lot at McNears comes to mind. Would be a good business opportunity for them...take two or three spots near the front, set up tables and a box with paddles and balls, people would play and then come into McNears for a drink /burger, etx...they could even hold tournaments...
