I heard there is a new Self Serve Yogurt place going into Theatre Square. Wouldn't that be wonderful?

So it's a vending machine? Like a soda machine? Yogurt 24/7? I like the beer vending machines in Germany. Can we get beer vending machines too?

Boop - you're right, you can get just about anything in a vending machine in Europe and especially Japan.

However that is not the case here, it is store in the Square, non-fat & organic yogurts, toppings, etc... using Strauss creamery. No, it is not a big chain store - locally owned and operated.

I don't know for sure, but from what I do know it is supposed to open in Sept.

Too bad they can't get in sooner to take advantage of the summer strollers and Wednesday market. It sounds great but it's gonna be pretty hard to tear me away from Powell's gelato!!!

Also noticed a Brain Freeze going in at Petaluma Plaza North (by the army recruiting station or maybe what was formerly the army recruiting station)

I've heard that the self serve yogurts are a little softer than a Foster's Freeze and you end up putting more in your cup to compensate and it really adds the $$$ at the register.
