Anyone know what happened last night?

A guy stole a car, abandoned the car and the police were pursuing him on foot with the aid of the helicopter.

I have lived in Petaluma since 1986 and I have to say that I am starting to give serious thought to moving out of the area -- too much illegal activity -- it seems to have increased tremendously -- my home has been broken into twice, my car was vandalized while parked in the driveway, my mailbox has been smashed numerous times .... and I live in what is considered a good area. I'd hate to live in a bad area.
