Hi
I am looking for a Daycare or childcare place in Petaluma for my 2 year daughter. I started looking at a few places and wanted to know if anyone has any recommendations for daycares.

I am looking for positive recommendations but am also looking for negative comments as well. For example if you had a bad experience at a daycare etc.

One of the places we liked was Kindercare in Petaluma, does anyone use or used Kindercare? What is your thoughts about it.

Also if you have any tips, tricks or areas to look out for that will help in us choosing the right daycare let me know.

Hi Joe,

I cannot say enough wonderful things about You and Me located on Hayes Lane. Our daughter went there before she reached school age and we couldn't have asked for better care for her! The teachers were incredible, as well as the director. They truly felt like an extension of family instead of 'daycare'.
On the other side of the coin, we had a horrible experience at Learning Universe located in the business park behind Applebee's. There were problems with our daughter being bit multiple times (enough to break the skin and leave bruises). They had a few great teachers, but the director was a nightmare to deal with.

You can also contact the 4C's of Sonoma County. They can give you a list of available daycare facilities in the area (home and center). Good luck!

Our daughter has been at Learning to Learn for the past year and a half and she loves it. The teachers there are wonderful. It's on Maria Drive on the east side.
