I have updated the photo series (see below) with photos taken at the Ellis Creek polishing wetlands. The ponds offer a variety of freshwater birds no longer seen at Shollenberger Park, including a large number of Pied-billed Grebe with young and Common Moorhen and young. I have added a map of the main trails, also. American White Pelican are seen most days. The wetlands also has a flock of Great-tailed Grackle (at least seven)
that may be the largest in Sonoma County, as the bird is most common to the Southwest.
