I think you should complete a biology course. Maybe then you'll realize that the world doesn't revolve around egocentric humans like yourself. Your comment simply illuminates your ignorance. People have been using your same argument for generations, what do you think people thought when the government spent boat loads of money in the 1930's and during the New Deal? Did bankruptcy occur then?
Throughout history our economic prosperity has had an incomprehensible toll on the environment and ecosystems which exist to support each other and ourselves. I think it is not only just, but noble cause to spend a small amount of money to preserve some land create a haven for these animals and plants as small token of our appreciation and a small attempt at restoring what is equally theirs. Tread Lightly Disclaimer: I don't represent or have any affiliation with the Petaluma Wetlands Alliance so interpret my comments with autonomy please. |
