East Madison is sorely in need of repaving. This is a major connector between Maria and McDowell. Wear your Fix-A-Dent when driving this stretch! (LOL)
Many streets are in a high state of disrepair. If you have a pothole, the city is very fast to send out a truck if you give them a call or an email. It's just a quick fix though.....the asphalt shoveled into these potholes usually doesn't last too long.
Until your car's rear axle is literally broken by a REAL pothole on FDR drive in NYC, you do not know potholes. Petaluma's potholes are really just pocmarks!

yeah the difference is NYC has snow and ice and sands the roads in the winter. Pothole-uma has nice California weather. They don't seem to have a problem paving the roads in Novato, go drive down D St Ext towards Pt Reyes some time... Marin Co line == smoooooth. Pathetic.

True, but it's snow ice SALT and sand on the roads...but that's what eats your car paint, not the roads.
But as they say, squeaky wheel get the grease, no pun intended, but the DPW crews are out this afternoon patching patching patching E. Madison between McDowell and Maria, so be careful what you wish for!
