Why doesn't the city utilize more community service hours? All three high schools have clubs that would welcome the volunteer work. These hard-working kids could be helping to maintain our parks, such as Luchessi Playground. Fall is coming and there will be lots of leaves to rake. All the parks could use the help, including picking up litter, pulling weeds and cleaning the play equipment....

That seems like a great idea! I guess Parks and Rec and the Teen Council and the HS service groups should all get together and work it out.
