Petaluma's Annual Ugly Dog Contest at the Sonoma-Marin Fair was a few months ago, but it is never too late to revel in the true Socratic Form of Ugliness.
The cocontest had a much higher production value than I expected, with Beth Ostrosky (Howard Stern's bride-to-be) interviewing the dog owners for Animal Planet.
After Gus, the three-legged skindog was named the Ugliest Dog in the World, we ate some turkey legs and watched the sunset...
