Every year, Golden Gate Fields in Berkeley hosts the Dachshund Derby. These are highly trained, fine-tuned thoroughbred racing wieners. They shot from the gate like greased lightning and were very difficult to capture on film. Well, at least a few of them - the rest wandered out of the gate and moseyed around in random circles. Oh, did I mention dollar hot dogs and beers? Best day ever.
