what is the deal with these storage pods in driveways for months on end? is this legal? i know some homeowners must be struggling, perhaps foreclosing/moving -- but months? it's a drag.
anyone?

The last time I checked, you can have one in your driveway. I don't know if there's a time limit on that either since it's on your own property. However, if you have one on the street you need to get an encroachment permit from the city.

According to the ads on TV, it looks like the proper way to use these is to fill them and then they are placed in PODS storage warehouses.

I agree, it sure makes the neighborhoods look tacky when the PODS sit there for months and months.
