Don Bennet is the king of spin. He will spin anything to bash the current council. This article a prime example! Here he was opining so nicely about the great dining scene we now enjoy when out of the blue- whammy he blindsides the council! He will use any excuse to take a cheap shot at them and the irony about this particular one is that the revitalization of downtown which has led to the success of so many of our fine restaurants are due to many of the current council members vision for our community. Laughable he is!

is the downtown also (mostly) due to basin street? funny, the council (specifically pam and glass) like to take all this credit for the theater district without giving proper credit to basin street. without those council members, theater square could still have happened, without basin street it couldn't have. where should credit go? but no.....the petaluma tomorrow type folks can't give credit where credit is due.....they are not strong enough people for that.
