Well we finally received a Christmas card with an enclosed newsletter that told it like it is. You know, usually those are the xeroxed letters that brag about the family vacations, successful kids, new cars, etc.

This one was the truth. Husband off on disability, wife barely hanging on to her job at a mortgage company, daughter had to drop out of college and start working, son laid off but might be able to stay with his company if he wants to move to Tennessee, no money to fix up their basic home repairs. Oh, but Merry Christmas anyway!
