Beisner has been divorced twice and married thrice. What an outrage. He should resign rather than bring shame on the church. I certainly wouldn't let him baptize my child.

Membership in the diocese of Northern California is plummeting: Down 26.4% in the past decade, down 15.9% since 2003 (when Gene Robinson was made the first openly homosexual bishop), and down 6.1% last year alone.

Do they need more buildings? No. They need less. I asked one of the lawyers for the LA churches and to the best of his knowledge, there has never been a case where a church has been won back by lawsuits that has gone on to be a viable parish.

So in a couple of years when the diocese quits subsidizing the parish and it folds, more shame to Beisner and his cronies.
